The 226 seems to be a slightly older model and appears to be missing a water bottle holder. The user's manuals from Schwinn ofr the two bikes are virtually identical. Basically the similarities are far greater than the differences.

Can you lose 20 pounds on a stationary bicycle in two months?

Combine a stationary bicycle with a reduced calorie eating program and you can do it. I use a Schwinn Recumbent Bicycle because it is easier on my back
