The axial skeleton is made up of the skull/cranium, jaw (mandible), sternum, ribs, vertebrae (including sacrum and coccyx). The appendicular skeleton is made of the scapula, humerus, ulna, radius, carpals, metacarpals, phalanges (also known as finger bones), ilium, ischium, pubis, femur, patella, tibia, fibula, tarsals, metatarsals, and some more phalanges (also known as toe bones).
They are the two divisions of the skeletal system. The axial consists of the skull, vertebral column, sacrum, coccyx, ribs, and sternum. And, the appendicular skeletal system is composed of the bones of the arms and legs.
the appendicular skeleton is the limbs and limb girdles that are attached to the axial skeleton and the axial skeleton is the head and trunk.
Our skeletal system is divided into two sections: Axial and Appendicular. Our appendicular skeleton is the limbs attached to our axial skeleton. Our axial skeleton consists of 80 bones out of the 206, where as our appendicular contains 126. Our axial skeleton provides protection to our vital organs and brain. Our appendicular skeleton creates movement.
Our axial skeleton is the middle section such as the cranium, thoracic cage, and vertebral column
Our appendicular skeleton is the limbs that hang off our axial skeleton such as the arms and legs
Axial Skeleton - forms the longitudinal axis of the body, it has 80 bones, roughly 40% of the bones in the human body.
Components of the axial skeleton :
-The skull (8 cranial bones and 14 facial bones)
-Bone assoicated with the skill (6 auditory ossicles and the hyoid bone)
-The thoracic cage (the sternum and 24 ribs)
-The vertebral column (24 vertebrae, the sacrum, and the coccyx) Appendicular Skeleton
The appendicular skeleton is the peripheral skeletal structure that includes arms, legs, pelvis (excluding the sacrum), and shoulder. It too, like the axial skeleton, is primarily comprised of bones and is held together with ligaments, with cartilage as the connective tissue that performs various functions essentially relating to making the joints run smoother.
the shoulder, the upper arm bone, the lower 2 arm bones, the wrist bone, are the bones that make up the upper appendicular, the bones that make up the lower appendicular skeleton is the legs and the hip bone.
1. The axial system is mainly the bones that line in an axis down the body (skull, thoracic cage, spinal cord)The appendicular system are the bones of the limbs and the girdles that connect them to the body
2. There are more differences between the male and female appendicular skeleton (mainly because of the pelvis) than the axial skeleton
3. The axial skeletal is mainly made up of flat and irregular bones
The appendicular skeleton is mainly long and short bones
4. Counted individually, the appendicular skeleton contains more bones (about 126) than the axial skeleton (about 80)
The axial skeleton includes just the skull, the sternum, the ribcage, and the vertebraic column, while the appendicular skeleton includes everything else.
The axial skeleton are the bones that lie around the longitudinal axis of the human body (from top to tail). This includes the skull, ribs, sternum, and vertebral column. The appendicular skeleton are the bones of the appendages (arms, legs) including the shoulder blade and the bones of the pelvic girdle.
They combine to make the 206 bones of the human body.
Axial skeleton
- is made up of bones of the skul, ribs, and the vertebrae.
Appendicular skeleton
- includes all the bones attached to the axial skeleton.
ya mam
It is difference
birds have a 4 chambered heart on the other hand fishes have a 2 chambered heart.
usually by 15-16 a teen boy will have reached an adult physique...of course, late bloomers will continue developing into their late teens
A microbial population is how a community of microbes evolve and grow with each other, also their genetics. A community is interacting microbes that live around each other and function with each other.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ANTS & FLIES The difference between ants and flies is that one can fly and the other one crawls. Also one is mostly in the air, while the other one is mostly on land.
Viruses are like cells except they destroy your immune system and take over your body and kill you.

There is a difference
There are no difference between them they are the same thing.
The difference between 309 and 132 is 177 numbers.
Same as anyother skeleton. God built them that way to be that way. Whats the purpose of our skeleton?
