The main difference between Protestants and Catholics lies in their beliefs about authority and salvation. Protestants believe in the authority of The Bible alone, while Catholics believe in the authority of both the Bible and church tradition. Additionally, Protestants emphasize salvation through faith alone, while Catholics believe in faith and good works for salvation.
