In order to find the mean of 3, 4, 3, 2, 7, 5 and 1, you have to add up all the numbers. In this case, it's 25. You then divide 25 by the amount of numbers you added up. In this case, you'll divide 25 by 7. 25 ÷ 7 = 3.5714285... Obviously, you'll want to round this answer. So your answer could be 4, 3.6, or 3.57. There are plenty of other options as well, but I'll just round to the nearest one-hundredth.
