Instead of just giving you the answer, I'll tell you how to solve the problem.
To solve this problem, write two equations. Let one variable be x and the other y. Then you can say:
xy = 800
x + y = -70
Isolate x + y = -70 for y and you get y = -70-x
Then plug it back into the first equation, solve for x and plug your answer into the second equation to solve for y.
Hope that helps, and let me know if you have any questions :)
70% of 800 = 560 800 * (70/100) = 800 * 0.7 = 560
To get 70 percent of 1.13 multiply it by 0.7. This gives you 0.791. If you add on the 70% you get 2.04

Multiply the number by 1.7
70% of 800 = 560 800 * (70/100) = 800 * 0.7 = 560
One trick for multiplying by 12 is to multiply the number by 10 and then add two times the number. For example, if you want to multiply 7 by 12, first multiply 7 by 10 to get 70, and then add 7*2=14 to get 84.
To find 70% or a number take the number and multiply it by .7
70 Percent of 100 is 70 To work out the percentage of a number (eg. 100) you devide it by 100 and multiply the result by the percentage you want: 100 / 100 = 1 1 x 70 = 70 Or you can multiply a number by, the percentage you want divided by 100 (Move the decimal place two places to the left) to find the percentage of a number. so to find 70% of a number multiply it by 0.7 to find 50% of a number multiply it by 0.5 (notice that it's half) to find 12.5% of a number multiply it by 0.125 And so on.
Multiply by ten and add one of the number. 7 x 11 = 70 + 7 23 x 11 = 230 + 23 = 253.
multiply the number by .7, that is 70 % of that number
To get 70 percent of 1.13 multiply it by 0.7. This gives you 0.791. If you add on the 70% you get 2.04
70% of 800= 70% * 800= 0.7 * 800= 560
To get 70% of a number, multiply that given number to the decimal equivalent of 70% which is 0.7. Example: 70% of 5 = 0.7 * 5 = 3.5
what is 70*800
