No.... don't take this too much to heart! I got into ND, into the honors program (the top 100 of 2000 accepted for the class of 2011), and I had like a 3.7 unweighted. They're looking at you overall. Take a mix of hard and easy classes so your GPA isn't TOO bad, but really what got me in (in my opinion) is taking 9 AP classes, getting a 1550/1600 on my SAT, being in Student Government, over 300 community service hours, and band. Now, breaking 1500 is kind of unusual here so don't feel bad if that hasn't happened - I just got lucky! My boyfriend was in the 1300's and he's doing great here. So, take hard classes, take the AP tests (it's more unusual here than I thought it would be, lots of people only took 1 AP!), do community service, play sports, ND will love you!
