Who is considered the best Jedi Knight in the Star Wars epic?

There are a lot of different answers about who is the most powerful Jedi, like Yoda, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker. The real answer is Luke Skywalker. Why? He turned Darth Vader to the light side, made Vader kill the Emperor, resisted the dark side, and created the New Republic. Even though it was alsmost destroyed by the Emperor's clones, Dark Jedi, Yuuzhan Vong, Lumiya, and Darth Cadeus, he built it back up every time.

**Actually Anakin Skywalker is the most powerful jedi. He is the chosen one and the only one who could bring balance to the force. Not to mention that his midiclorian counts were unheard of. Luke did not make Vader kill the emperor, Vader killed the emperor because he witnessed him killing his only son, that sight made him find the light and destroy the emperor, thus returning balance to the force.**

No jedi have 2 light-sabers. But they do in Star Wars video games. (Some.) No Jedi that is seen in the whole Saga (at least that I can recall right now) has two lightsabers. But in the Expanded Universe several Jedi wield duel lightsabers specifically Jedi with master in the Niman lightsaber combat form.

LUKE SKYWALKER, REALLY!? I disagree. He got pwned by his own father!!! And besides, his 2nd lightsaber looks dumb, just like Obi-Wan's Clone Wars lightsaber. It's like they copied off each other's lightsaber design. They only thing different is the color of the blade. Qui-Gon Jinn is the greatest Jedi of all time! He trained Obi-Wan Kenobi, the hero of the Clone Wars. That YouTube video about Qui-Gon Jinn being the worst Jedi ever, the person who made that video just didn't want Obi-Wan or Anakin to be blamed for it. How would Qui-Gon know that 20 years after his death that Anakin would turn to the dark side? It's really Anakin's own fault. Master Yoda even said that fear is the enemy. Who would really think that the power of the dark side can save Padme? It's not like there's a force heal or something. It was just stupid the way he fell to the dark side. He really even burned himself up. Who would fight Obi-Wan Kenobi and think they would win? The only good thing that happened as Darth Vader was that he saved his son, Luke Skywalker.

Qui-Gon is a cool but he is now where near the greatest Jedi. If you include all of the expanded universe which is implied by the statement "of all time" Luke becomes the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy.

NOPE!!! Qui-Gon still is! He trained Obi-Wan and found the boy who would bring balance to the force. And besides, he's a Jedi master and has the COOLEST lightsaber design with an awesome green blade. And he's hip and cool because he has all that hair. Luke Skywalker IS my second favorite, but not the best.

Luke did far more impressive things than Qui-Gon. Luke saved Vader from the dark side of the force, which caused the death of the Emperor. He single handedly rebuilt the Jedi Order. He destroyed the Death Star. I will admit that Qui-Gon's hair is way cooler than Luke's but besides that Luke is definitely the greatest Jedi..

If you say Qui-Gon Jinn is the greatest then why did it take Him and Obi-Wan Kenobi to defeat Darth Maul?... Darth Maul is the Greatest Jedi of All Time!!!
