Francis Scott Key is an American Lawyer who was an important person in American History. Francis Scott Key was a captured prisioner on a British Boat in the War of 1812. On the Battle of Baltimor on September 13-14 1814, Key wrote a poem of what he saw and soon became the National Anthem (The Star-Spangled Banner).
