he quotes juilus ceaser
Captain Beatty in Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 quotes from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar: "There is no terror, Cassius, in your threats: For I am arm'd so strong in honesty that they pass me by as the idle wind, which I respect not"
Julius Caesar. The quote is "There is no terror, Cassius, in your threats, for I am armed so strong in honesty that they pass me as an idle wind, which I respect not!"
With some plays it is hard to tell what they are but The Merry Wives of Windsor is very clearly a comedy, Titus Andronicus is as clearly a tragedy. As for the histories, Henry V is a history which is not a tragedy (although it might be considered a comedy as it ends with the announcement of a wedding). Richard III on the other hand is a history which is clearly a tragedy (it has almost the same plot as Macbeth.)
Some of Shakespeare's early plays were very successful, particularly the Henry VI plays and Titus Andronicus. He may have written some clunkers before that which we don't know about, so it is difficult to say that he was immediately successful.

The Romeo and Juliet story probably owes its start to the story of Pyramus and Thisbe in Ovid's Metamorphoses. It went through a half-dozen storytellers before it got to Shakespeare. Shakespeare knew the original too--he put it into his play A Midsummer Night's Dream.
