The best example is prey-predator, the easiest one to memorize. The example of it is between owl and rats in a palm oil. Owl will eat the rats and control the populations of rats somehow. Owl is the predator and rats are the prey.Amensalism is a relationship in which one organism has a negative effect on another organism. The bread mold Penicillium is a common example of one organism exuding a chemical compound as part of its normal metabolism that is detrimental to another organism.
