As they age, things start to happen, such as pyometrias (infection of the uterus - can cause death), mammary tumors, perianal tumors, etc. You will cut down her risk of these things if you spay her. Breeding her at this age is not advised. It takes a lot out of them to be pregnant, whelp the pups and take care of the pups. Why not give her an easier life?
