they say 2 years old is about the right age
Most children are ready to be potty trained between 22 and 30 months of age but every child is different.
A child should be potty trained at the age of 2 so therefore if your child is still wetting themselves at age 12 then maybe you should potty train again
if my calculations are correct.....i say that the age for NASA's training is as soon as you are potty trained.....jk......until you are 30
Some children have bed-wetting issues late into childhood but at age ten this is rare. Sometimes toilet issues are related to urinary problems. It is best to see a paediatrician or a urologist if a child is still not potty trained at age ten to rule out any medical problems.
They should only not be potty trained if they have some case of mental retardation. By the age of 8 they can fully comprehend other people. By this time they should figure out that going to the bathroom is normal and should know how to do this. It could be either a boy or a girl. The age for being un-potty trained should be about 6 years old. If they are 14 and aren't potty trained they should wear teen diapers (flat or unnoticable ones to not be made fun of) and to learn how to change the diaper and whip themselves properly if in school or public restrooms or even at someone else's home.
There is no easy way to do this as every child is different. Girls are generally easier to train than boys. Most children are potty trained by the time they reach four years of age, but it is not uncommon for them to be trained as early as two.
It depends on when you potty train your toddler. Most toddlers start potty training around 2.5 - 3 and are completely potty trained (regular underwear only) at age 4. Yes, it is a long process that needs consistency and support on your part as a parent. Praise your child for doing well, but dont punish for accidents. Remember, its a hard transition from never remembering to use a restroom to always having to remember. Be understanding and supportive.
Three years of age is an appropriate age to begin to socialize your child. At this age most children are potty trained, and ready to learn to share toys and play with others.
You can start trying to potty train your child by about 2 yrs old. The child should be completely trained about 2 1/2 years of age.
