the German army used mainly its standard infantry weapons: kar 98s mp40s mg42s however experimental weapons such as early prototypes of the stg44 and flamenverfer 35 were used

the Russians basically used whatever they could get theyre hands on

mosin nagants ppsh42s and several other submachine guns at that point in the war they were still using old ww1 era maxim machine guns for theyre support weapons

the Germans used mainly panzer 3s and 4s however tiger 1 tanks were also present

the Russian t34 had just came out during Stalingrad so that was used near the end of the battle

you also have to understand that Stalingrad was a desperate battle for both the Russians and the Germans neither side had enough food or ammo so hand to hand combat was common
