It isn't really an ancient organism, but Cyanobacteria were the organisms that changed earths atmosphere (I think?)
It was around 3 billion years ago, and they formed colonies that accreted sand making structures known as Stromatolites.
Funny thing was because there was no free Oxygen around before hand, as soon as the Cyano's started making it, it would react with all the dissolved iron in the oceans (making rust) to such proportions that they almost wiped themselves extinct because there was so much rust everywhere!
Earth's crust is mostly made up of Silicon and Oxygen
The Earth's crust is primarily made up of oxygen (46.6%) and silicon (27.7%), with silicon being the second most abundant element in the crust.
Most of Earth's dry air is made up of nitrogen (about 78%) and oxygen (about 21%). Other gases such as argon, carbon dioxide, and water vapor make up the remaining composition.
The rocks in earths mantel are made up of 44.8% oxygen, 21.5% silicon, and 22.8% magnesium. Iron, calcium, sodium, aluminum, and potassium are also present. The elements occur in rocks as oxides.
Hydrosphere is made up of water, salt and others so that why i'm giving you this.....(remember water is made up of oxygen and hydrogen, common salt is made up of sodium and chlorine)
The earths atmosphere is made up of 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen
nitrogen and oxygen
nitrogen and oxygen
no
47 % oxygen & 27% silicon.
The earths atmosphere is made up of 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen
Approximately 20 percent of the Earth's atmosphere is made up of oxygen.
the earth atmosphere is made up of carbon dioxide and oxygen and some helium.
Earth's crust is mostly made up of Silicon and Oxygen
it made it possible 4 it to be plants animals and human life
The circulatory system brings oxygen and food to the cells of an organism. It is made up of the heart, a network of vessels and the blood.
79% Nitrogen, 20% Oxygen and 1% argon, Carbon Dioxide and other trace gasses.
