An albino animal is an animal that is competently white. They also have red eyes. Albino animals are rare to see in zoos and the wild. Most albinos can't see, so the wild albinos usually die. Zoo kept albinos are rare because in breeding it is difficult to get an albino in the first place. As you see in the picture, two ostriches are completely white. Those are albino ostriches. But not every white animal you see is albino. It has to ave pink skin around the eye and a red eye. Just because you see a white dog or cat does not mean it is albino.
it is possible for albinism to affect all vertabrates, including humans
That is difficult to answer. If you wanted to know, there might be an answer on Google, but they could keep populating,so no one knows.
Any animal can be albino even humans.
Yes. All albino animals are.
No. albino animals are a genetic fluke of a certain species. If the species of animal are endangered, then the albino is as well, but being albino makes no difference to the status of the species.
There are white(albino) lions and one time I saw a white(albino)alligator!Or was it a crocodile...Many animals are albino.
Albino animals are born when their parents or relatives were inbred.
The true albino has no pigmentation at all. Some forms are largely white (polar bears and baby seals, for example) but they aren't albinos.
Yes. Pretty much all animals can be albino, it comes from a mutation in the gene that controls the amount of melatonin in the skin.
No.
I assume anything non-albino animals eat.
albino animals usally have a hard time finding a mate
in africa
Many albino animals are endangered because it is a genital mess up for example an albino deer may have all regular colored fawns even if she were to mate with an albino male so in this case yes if it were like albino mice they bred to look that way P.S. i am only twelve and this is all committed form memory from former research
Yes. Albino animals are at an increased risk of skin cancer.
