Four Ways that organisms reproduce asexually are as follows:-
Binary Fission:- e.g. Paramecium, Euglena, Amoeba
Multiple fission:- e.g. Amoeba during spore conditions, Euglena.
Budding:- Sponges, Coelentrates (Hydra, Obelia)etc.
Fragmentation:- Planarians (A type of aquatic worma like Annelids and Flat worms).
An organism can adapt to its environment through genetic mutations, behavioral changes, physiological adjustments, and natural selection. These adaptations help the organism survive and thrive in its surroundings.
1)they are prokaryotic organism i.e their nucleus are not bounded by membrane 2)some are free-living organisms and some are parasitic 3)free-living bacteria use flagella for movenment 4)they are unicellular organisms 5)some are toxins
All plants share the characteristics of being multicellular, having cell walls made of cellulose, undergoing photosynthesis to produce energy, and having a life cycle that includes alternation of generations.
Bacteria (by fission), some plants (by budding), and some sea life such as sea stars (regeneration- when a sea star is torn apart let's say into a 4-piece part and a 1-piece part, they both start to regenerate other arms to make 2 sea stars each with the normal 5 arms.). This is true. If you don't believe me consider this: I get an A+ in Science. If you still don't believe me, check a Science Textbook. Hope this helped! :)-Anonymous Source
There are 6 basic characteristics of a living organism: Movement, reproduction, sensitivity, growth, respiration, excretion, and nutrition. You'll have to find out for yourself whether or not they describe a living organism...... You have to move if you are alive, no matter what speed or quantity You have to reproduce in order for your species to survive You have to have certain amounts of sensitivity to different things. You have to grow because you might not be fully formed when you were born or created A spontaneous generation is a life form that appeared or created itself out of inanimate matter (basically an alive thing popping up out of microscopic stuff)
Their are six major characteristics 1. The organism can move at least once in its life. 2. The organism must capture food (not make its own) 3. It must be multi-celled 4. They must be Eukaryotic (have a nucleus and organelles) 5. It must be able to digest its food 6. It must be able to reproduce sexually but it can also reproduce asexually.
1.Binary Fission eg: Amoeba 2.Multiple Fission eg: Plasmodium 3.Budding eg: Hydra 4.Spore formation eg: Rhizopus
1. Are comprised of one or more units called cells 2. Reproduce (sexually or asexually) 3. Grow and develop 4. Obtain and use energy 5. Respond to their environment
1. produce food from sunlight, water and minerals 2. convert carbon dioxide into oxygen 3. reproduce sexually by seed 4. reproduce asexually through bulblets or offsets
Gooey aliens may reproduce asexually through fission or budding, where offspring grow and split off from the parent organism. Alternatively, they may reproduce sexually through the exchange of genetic material with another organism, leading to the development of offspring within the gooey alien's body. The exact reproductive process would depend on the specific traits and biology of the gooey alien species in question.
Yes!! It needs warmth and moisture to do so though! Basically, it just keeps splitting in half so 1 would become 2, 2 into 4 and 4 into 8!
4. reproduced asexually
An organism can adapt to its environment through genetic mutations, behavioral changes, physiological adjustments, and natural selection. These adaptations help the organism survive and thrive in its surroundings.
1. Repection is the ability of the organisms to control it's actions and respond to changes in the envierment. 2. Metablism is the process of takinf in and using nutrients to produce energy and growth. 3. Reproduction is the ability to reproduce offspring to continue the species. 4. Organization divides the organism into distinct parts to perform ther functions.
something that meets the 4 criteria for life 1 DNA 2 some way to use out side sources to produce energy 3 sense and respond to change 4 reproduce (cells)
They do not do what we (or even bacteria do): 1. grow on their own 2. respire 3. take in nutrients 4. reproduce 5. respond to their enviroment
1)they are prokaryotic organism i.e their nucleus are not bounded by membrane 2)some are free-living organisms and some are parasitic 3)free-living bacteria use flagella for movenment 4)they are unicellular organisms 5)some are toxins
