What are Code p0300 p0306 p0308 for 2003 Dodge Durango?
P0300 Diagnostic Code - Random Misfire
Engine may stumble or miss
Engine may be hard to start
you may notice no issues
Failing spark plugs or spark plug wires
Bad coil or coil pack
Failing oxygen sensor(s)
Bad fuel injector or more than one
Stuck exhaust valve
Bad catalytic converter
EGR valve or valve passage clogging
Bad camshaft position sensor
Bad PCM or ECM
Best first action is a tune up, new plugs, wires, inspect all hoses and wire connections then reset the code. If it returns you will need to narrow it down to a system, coils and coil packs should be tested, catalytic converters for function ( do you smell rotten eggs?). A misfire that jumps cylinders could indicate a lean condition, do you have any other codes along with the 300? this will help clue you in to the source, check valve function to make sure they are opening and closing fully.
This is probably pone of the most difficult codes to troubleshoot, so start with the basics and work your way into the more expensive options, in many cases a good old tune up solves the problem, back it up with a fuel system cleaning and see where you stand.
P0300-random misfire, P0306-cylinder no. 6 misfire, P0308-cylinder no. 8 misfire detected.
Yes. At least one or more of these codes would come up, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306, P0307 or P0308.
That is a cylinder number eight misfire.

Cylinder #8 misfire. See related question below. Cylinder #8 misfire. See related question below.
Cylinder #8 misfire. Something is causing #8 to not fire properly, suggest you start with a tune up.
Must have damaged a spark plug or mixed up the firing order during replacement. Check the code(s) and you may find a P0300 thru P0308 which will help determine what cylinder is misfiring.
p0308 is a cylinder 8 misfire , can be several reasons why
Misfire in Cylinder No. 8.
Flashing engine light on virually any vehicle almost always points to at least 1 cylinder misfiring. It usually is a P0300 - multiple random cylinder misfire code...but I've seen cases with a P0301 through P0308 (cylinder 1-8 misfire...or through 12 if you're lucky enough to have 12 cylinders lol).
Have your local auto parts store read the code(s) to determine which cylinder has the misfire. The code(s) should include one or more of the following, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306, P0307, P0308. The last number on each code determines the cylinder at fault. P0300 is for a random misfire. Once you have determined which cylinder is at fault, remove the spark plug and notice if the business end of the spark plug… Read More

2003 Ford Expedition has multiple codes PO174 PO307 PO308 PO316. No info is found online. Can someone help?
Assuming the trouble codes on a Ford Expedition would be the same as in a Ford Ranger, the codes mean: P0174 = System adaptive fuel too lean (Bank 2) P0307 and P0308 = My manual does not list these codes, but P0301 thru P0306 refer to misfire at cylinders 1 thru 6 detected. P0307 and P0308 may be cylinders 7 & 8. P0316 = Misfire occurred during first 1000 engine revolutions Info from Haynes Repair… Read More
What are these codes for B1342 B1676 C1145 C1175 P0308 P1401 P0135 in Grand Marquis do I have to fix it all?
Codes B1342 thru C1175 all deal with ABS System in the Car. I suspect a Bad ABS System Sensor. This would need to be fixed as it could affect your breaking ability. Code P0308 is a Cylinder 8 Misfire - A good Tuneup should fix this. Code P1401 is a bad or shorted DPFE Sensor. You'll need to get this fixed. And Code P0135 is the Heating System Front O2 sensors. Replace your O2 sensor… Read More

Why would a 2000 Expedition 4wd XLT with 62K miles have a Service Engine light on and feel like it has a non-firing piston?
you probably have a coil pack assy. that is breaking down.have a place scan the computer, you should have a p0301-p0308.the last number is the cylinder that is missing.a coil pack and spark plug should fix it.
A variety of reasons, most common is a bad spark plug wire or coil pack but possibly a bad crank sensor, but could be a bad piston ring, scored piston chamber wall. a hole in the piston, etc Check the spark plug pocket to see if it is full of water.
Why might a 2001 Lincoln Town Car with a 4.6 sputter at idle and seem to miss at acceleration as if it is starving for fuel?
Answer A friend told me to change the fuel filter which is mounted under the right under side of the frame near the right rear passenger door. All you need to change it is a small screw driver to lift the tabs holding the hoses in place, and a 5/16 hex head nut driver to remove the clamp holding the filter to the bracket, which is affixed to the frame. This fixed the problem! The… Read More
