The biggest problem I know of is that the timing chain guides go on these moters and if you don't fix it when it starts to make noise( like an impacked gun) it will chain will jump a tooth and destroy the head because this is an zero tolerance motor which means that the intake and exhaust valves have little clearence from the piston! you can have the guides replaced for about 5 to 6 hundred bucks or if it goes your looking at a new motor Daytime driving lights wont come on. Water pump goes out The front rotors are easy to warp and of course..."slinging a rod"
