What is Bella Swan's strengths in twilight?

If you're talking about the writing and the development of the story, there are not many strengths. The only thing Meyer really accomplished was grabbing the reader. She had lengthy descriptions that said nothing about the characters' personalities. Also, there is no real plot or foundation to the story. The only decently developed and dynamic character in the whole series is Leah Clearwater.

Edward is too controlling and borderline abusive: he keeps Bella away from her friend Jacob, and gets mad when he has no right to.
