I think around a 3.35 is the average GPA.
I am currently a Junior in high school and was wondering if I would be able to get into Elon. I have taken 1 AP class this year but I am planning on taking 3 as a senior, I have a 3.6 GPA, 1730 on my SATs (I haven't taken the ACTs yet), varsity cross-country, track, captain of JV Basketball last year, played AAU basketball during spring, treasurer and secretary of class council for 3 years, involved in Key Club, worked at same job for almost a year, volunteered for 2 weeks the past 2 summers at a children's farm camp, member of National Honor Society, played and taken piano lessons throughout high school and have played in various concerts. I am planning on visiting the school in a week and a half during my school vacation, but I was just wondering if I would have a good chance of getting into Elon, Princeton, or maybe Harvard (one of my top choices).
Honestly i think you should work more on your grades, and less on basketball, unless your planning to get a scholarship for bball.
with a 3.6 GPA no you do not have a good chance, by the way Harvard is overated, so i heard, i mean that is the word on the streets.
The average ranges between 25-29 and so on... They have taken 18/19-23 also but that is more rare...
