Some books are published with blank pages at the back for the reader to make notes on. Sometimes they say, "This page was intentionally left blank." Sometimes it is done because large peices of paper are printed at once and then folded, usually creating a signature of 32 pages and the author may not have text enough to fill all of the pages. It is sometimes cheaper to leave the blank pages in rather than cut them out.
Notes pages are additional blank pages included at the end of a document or presentation where users can jot down extra information, reminders, or thoughts related to the content of the document. These pages are commonly used for personal annotations or to facilitate communication with others who will be viewing the document.
