Customer Service Duties are activities expected to be performed by the seller in order to delight the customer. In modern marketing, it is not just enough to satisfy customers but rather the emphasis is to actually delight the customer. Some of these activities include, but not limited to:
1. The seller must be a good listener in order to show concern for the customers' demands.
2. In instances where the customer demands products (goods and services) which the seller does not immediately stock but in a position to supply them, efforts must be made to supply them on the due date, in the right quality and in the right quantity.
3. Where warranties are in place as a policy of the business, the seller must endeavour to act as and where necessary.

5. where customer makes enquiries concerning products being purcased, the seller is expected to deliver the right information and not give false information that would make the customer undertake the purchase. by so doing, the customer would not return to undertake business with the Organisation and the business is liable to lose prospective customers as the disappointed customer would talk to friends about the service offered him.
