if you are getting a new dog then you will 1st want to get it shots and a collar. then you will have to buy puppy food or dog food . some other things you will have to get to have an awesome dog is a dog leash, dog bush (to keep it's fur soft), dog treats (to train), dog grooming soap, the dog a towel to dry or a blow dryer, dog nail clipper (unless if you take it to the groomers), a dog shaving clippers (also unless also you take it to groomers), also you mite want to spade or nood it so it wont have puppy's or make puppy's, dog bed or dog house if it sleeps out side and i think that will be all and remember if you have a new pup train it fast.

You should get your dog a collar and a little tag for it with your information on it, in case he/she decides its time to run off. A leash for your dog for walks, some places demand a leash.
