A low pressure system is a weather system surrounding an area of low pressure (low mass of air above) that is surrounded by air moving inwards and counter-clockwise. Low pressure systems are usually characterized by clouds and precipitation. High pressure systems are the opposite. Air flow is outwards and clockwise and usually clear weather.

Low air pressure is when there is less air pressure. It's usually when you get rain or cold weather that you have low air pressure. High air pressure is when there is more. This usually results in sunny warm weather. An easy way to remember is the H and the L. High air pressure equalls happy weather. Low air pressure equals lousy weather.

In a high pressure system there is high pressure, and in a low pressure system there is less pressure than the high pressure system. High pressure system, often called anticyclones, generally bring calm, clear weather. When parked in the same place for a long time they can bring long spells of hot or cold weather as well a drought. High pressure system rotate clockwise in the northern hemisphere and counterclockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.

Low pressure systems, sometimes called cyclones often bring clouds, precipitation such as rain or snow, and sometimes storms. Strong low pressure systems, particularly tropical cyclones (hurricanes, typhoons, etc) can be dangerous. Many other extreme weather events such as tornado outbreaks and blizzards are usually associated with low pressure systems. Low pressure systems in the northern hemisphere rotate counterclockwise while those in the southern hemisphere rotate clockwise.

the high pressure pump releases or pumps water or whatever substance you are using out faster and at a hight pressure and with more power. And the low pressure pump is not as powerful
