In Winter it snows and when Spring arrives, all plants sprout again because the sun melts all of the snow and makes it water which the plants absorb to grow.

When there are thunder storms and lightning, it helps us make glass, because if a lightning bolt strikes a sandy surface, the sand quickly turns into molten glass and just as quickly cools making a big sheet of glass, and after a while, humans pick it up and shape the glass into what it is needed for.
