Reactants are found on the left side of an equation and products are found on the right side.
Reactants
Molecular compounds are formed when the intramolecular bonds are covalent instead of ionic. These are formed by non-metallic atoms bonding with other non-metallic atoms.
Elements from Group 3 to 12 are called Transition Elements. These elements are heavy metals. They lie between the strongly eloctropositive elements to their right and the electronegative elements ( non-metals) to their left. These metals mainly have 2 valence electronswith the metallic character decreasing from left to right of their period.
No because they are elements an we need elements to live. Your welcome for your answer right? :) P.S if your looking for any more elements go chemicool.com put the name of your element and it would give you all of the answers. ;P <3
Molecular compounds contain nonmetals, which are on the far right of the periodic table.
The elements and compounds to the right of the equations are called products.
The elements found on the reactant side of an equation are on the left side of the equation. The products are on the right side.
i can only answer the compounds and elements, because im not quite sure on the mixtures! Elements and compounds are alike because they are both pure substances but elements consist of only one atom i.e. one oxygen atom, one carbon atom. Compounds have two types of atoms like CO2 for example it has a carbon atom and two oxygen atoms Here is an equation Carbon plus oxygen equals carbon dioxide i hope this has helped a bit for you!! slight mistake sorry thats why it is CO2. lol he's right!!
By convention the reactants are given on the left side of the equation and the products on the right side of the equation.
Placing coefficients in front of compounds or elements or poly-atomic ions to balance the number of atoms of different elements between the reactants side and the products side. Ex. CH4 + 2 O2 CO2 + 2 H2O
The elements to the right of that zigzag are called "non-metals"
Everything to the right of the arrow is a product.
The elements on the right side of the periodic table are called the P block elements. They are non metals. The right most elements are called noble gasses(inert gasses). These do not react with other elements.
Reactants
I guess there are a lot but if you think of fertilizers being called "NPK fertilizers" you're already on the right track, so a few are: common elements: N, H, P, O, K common compounds: ammonium salts, phosphate salts and probably urea as well.

Binary ionic compounds have 2 elements, the element on the left (cation) should be a metal (left side of the zig zag line), and the other element on the right should be nonmetal (right side of the zig zag line)Binary molecular compounds have 2 NON METAL elements
