Well, Ares was know as the God of War, his Roman name was Mars and he had a very bad temper. He also loved flowers and agriculture. His favortite month was march because flowers bloom then. He is a major player that makes love bsically every night. The funny thing is that He never had a wife. He had about 40 kids. Athena was also one of his lovers, just like aphrodite, and she would often stop him from going into war. He loved the taste of chicken and chicken was also sacred to him. He would always wear chicken or eat chicken right before or during a war.

He is the greek god of war,

he has every weapon non to man,

and he is totaly awsome

I am here to inprove this since this isnt a logical answer...ARES was the great Olympian god of war, battlelust, civil order and manly courage. In Greek art he was depicted as either a mature, bearded warrior dressed in battle arms, or a nude beardless youth with helm and spear.

Two of his children were killed by Heracles, had children with Aphrodite. and his roman aspect is much wiser.

Ares is the Greek God or War. (His Roman name was Mars). Ares was less like than Mars and there are different stories about him for different areas of the world. His parents Zeus and Hera disliked him most of all of their children. He would love to start wars just to fight regardless of the consequences. However, he was also known by the Greeks as a coward because if and when he was injured, he would run away and go to get his wound healed and return just to fight. He would sometimes join in on the bloodiest battles and fight, not staying on a designated side. He also had a love in his life, Aphrodite, even though she was married to Hephaistos. They were caught, but that didnt stop Ares from continuing his secret liaisons with her. In one story he was chained inside of an Urn by two giants (Otus and Ephialtes), when Hermes came to rescue him and Ares tricked the giants into killing each other. There is one story of Ares killing Halirrhotius, the son of Poseidon, because he had rapped Ares' daughter Alcippe. Some of his symbols were the Vulture, the Dog, and the Spear. He was a son of Zeus and Hera. After Hephaestus and Aphrodite got married, Aphrodite cheated on

Hephaestus with Ares. (nice girl, huh?) So Hephaestus traps them while they are.... doing it..... and says he is going to keep them there forever, but he eventually lets them go. Ares has two godly sons with Aphrodite, Phobos and Deimos, Fear and Panic.

His mother was Hera, his father was Zeus, he was god of war and men and blood lust his sister twin was Enyo a goddess of war and ruin, he had a son with her in Enyalius.

He was the consort of Aphrodite, goddess of love: his children with her include Deimos (Dread-Fear) and Phobos (Panic-Fear) and Harmonia (Harmony) and Anterus (Love Returned).

He is also the likely father of Cydoimus (Confusion).

Ares is sometimes called the father of Eros (Love) the son of Aphrodite, though this isn't likely and more so the confusion of the birth of Anterus, who was of the host Erotes.

The children of Ares who are not divine include monsters and mortals both.
