The 1989 Toyota rod bearing torque specification is 150 pounds. You should torque the rod bearings bolt in 50 pound intervals.

There isn't a torque setting. You adjust the valves by tightening each rocker arm until there is no clatter and then tighten them 1/2 turn more.
According to both my factory service manual and my Chilton manual the hub nut torque is 192 foot pounds.
Well, honey, to disconnect the torque converter clutch on a 1989 2.8 Chevy Celebrity, you're gonna have to get under that car and locate the torque converter clutch solenoid. Unplug the electrical connector and remove the bolts holding the solenoid in place. Once that's done, you can kiss that torque converter clutch goodbye! Just be sure to handle it with care, we don't need any more drama under that hood.
