Federal Pell Grant
FAFSA is not a grant. FAFSA is an application to see if you are eligible for federal student aid. When you complete the FAFSA, you can request that the results be forwarded to the school to which you have applied. An education program is eligible for payment by federal financial aid if the program is accredited and has a federal ID number from the Dept of Education.
