Some suggestions are:
1. If you want to sound people to think of you as just a regular kid begin with, "I may be running for <position>, but that doesn't mean that I don't mess up like you guys. <tell embarrassing story about yourself> This will make people not think of you as some stuck up student council guy/girl who thinks they're so much better than everybody else.
2. I found a really funny way with one kid started their speech. "Four score and seven years ago, none of us were born, but even then I knew I was going to win this election" I found that pretty funny.
3. Begin with, "I'm actually pretty embarrassed, I was on my way to school and I realized I had forgotten to write a speech, so like any other normal kid, I payed a guy on the street $15 dollars to write one for me, so lets see how it goes." <recite ideas for student council and other boring stuff like that> End with: Wow! I guess I got my money's worth.
4. Is there an inside joke in your school, about a teacher or the stinky smells in the locker rooms. I don't know how strict your school is but you may want to mention that joke in your speech. You have to know your audience, most likely all your voters are students around your age, right? So think about something that you and your friends think is funny, and then try to make a joke about it in your speech.
Utilize humor by incorporating funny anecdotes or jokes relevant to student life in your speech. Share light-hearted promises such as adding pizza to the cafeteria menu or declaring a "no homework day" if elected. Use creative visuals or props to add humor and engagement to your speech, such as funny memes or costumes.
Be funny. Grab the audiences attention and speak clearly and loudly. Do something different. Dance or sing or something
its not funny its a serious job

OK So what you have to do is think about yourself. Think about your flaws. Make fun of them. It will show that you are honest that you aren't perfec,t but you don't beat yourself up on it. It is an easy way to be funny without going cheesy. Good Luck!! :)

Student council jokes are like a bad school lunch - predictable and not very satisfying. They usually involve nerdy stereotypes, power-hungry politicians, and boring meetings. But hey, at least they give us something to laugh at between algebra and history class.
For a student council treasurer speech, you can highlight your financial responsibility and organization skills by sharing a funny anecdote related to money management. You can also incorporate a clever slogan like "Count on [Your Name] for a Wealth of Ideas" to grab your audience's attention and showcase your creativity. Remember to keep your speech engaging and relatable to connect with your fellow students.

Business Balls and Business Pundits are just two websites where one can find funny but appropriate humour to use in business speeches. One can also find books recommended on the Good Reads website.
Depends if you want to be intellectual, generic, or funny. Abreit Macht Frei, for example, is clever but probably unadvisable. "Scientia potentia est" is perfect, but 99% percent of teachers are too ignorant to know what it means.
A good student council secretary speech should be clear and focused, outlining your qualifications, goals, and vision for the position. It should demonstrate your communication skills, organization, and ability to work collaboratively with others. Personal anecdotes or examples of past experiences can help connect with your audience and showcase your leadership qualities.
