Cassowaries are considered a keystone species as they play an important role in the ecology of the rainforest where they live, as they are vital in dispersing seeds in their native forests.
They are frugivores which feed on the fruit of up to 238 different species of plants. Because they are able to eat larger fruits, they can therefore can disperse large rainforest fruits after the seeds have passed through their digestive system, which is gentle enough to allow the seeds to remain viable. The cassowary has a wide range, so is also the only long distance means for dispersing large seeded fruits. The seeds are excreted into a pile of the cassowary's own dung, meaning the seeds have their own ready-made pile of fertiliser. The smell of the dung even helps to deter seed-eating predators such as the white-tailed rat. Of the hundreds of fruit-bearing species on which the cassowary feeds, between 70 and 100 of them appear to rely completely on the cassowary for dispersal.
Southern Cassowaries of Australia are considered a keystone species. They play an important role in the ecology of the rainforest and bushland areas where they live, as they are vital in dispersing seeds in their native forests.

The sea star Pisaster ochraceus is also considered a keystone species. It has been found that when this sea star is removed from its intertidal habitat, its ecosystem undergoes huge changes, with remaining species in the food web immediately competing with each other to occupy limited space and resources.
puma, white-tailed deer, panther, mountain lions, bears, foxes and wildcats and possoms.
Daphnia is the keystone species of the lakes and ponds. They are typically the principal grazers of algae, bacteria, protozoa, and the primary forage of fish.

It is a keystone species
A keystone species is a species whose presence has an influence on the size of the population of several other species in its community. A jaguar would be an example.
The altitude of the tropical rainforest is commonly low and almost equal to the sea level. Some of the largest rivers and lakes are found on the tropical rainforest.
my mom
Bangle Tigers do live in tropical rainforest's but in India only
the most key species are spider monkeys and poisonus dart arrow frogs
There are multiple keystone species that live in the tropical rainforests. A couple of these species are cassowaries and agoutis.
There are about 200 differrent species in the tropical rainforest.

Tropical rainforest
Most species of kangaroos do not live in the tropical rainforest, but in grasslands and open bushland of Australia. The exceptions are the various species of tree kangaroo, and the tiny musky rat-kangaroo.

The richest of all the world's biomes are the Amazon lowlands. For example, there are about 1,000 species of birds in the biome along with many thousands of other species of plants and animals.

The Amazon Rainforest is a tropical rainforest.
