Mini dental implants are an alternative to the normal dental implant option. They are smaller in size and are much less invasive. They range from 1.8 mm to 3 mm where as a normal implant is around 3.75 mm. A small hole is drilled into the gums with the implant tightened into place and the denture is then fitted onto the head of the implant. This procedure can be done in one day at a dental office, performed by a dentist who is certified to conduct this procedure.

∙ 11y agoMini braces are just smaller version of normal sized metal braces. They are about 30% smaller than conventional braces but just as strong. Preferred by teens and adults. They are far easier to keep clean which is a definite plus. The downside is they are quite abit more costly than conventional braces.
