Dear Guys,

If I talk about Petroleum Engineering.

The sand production is usually observed in Sandstone reservoirs.

The sand can be predicted, controlled, monitored.

Sand can be treated by two main processes.

1. Chemical treatment

2. Mechanical Treatment

Chemical Treatment uses epoxy resins to combine the sand particles together.

Mechanical Treatment uses mechanical strings linke screens, slotted liners, and prepacked screens etc.
