Some people say its sort of the same as Aro's, but he only needs to touch them with his skin to know everything that mind holds. But in Renesme's case, she only needs to touch someone with her skin to tell them something, unlike Aro's.

∙ 12y agoWhen Bella is changed into a vampire, her extra ability is a Shield. That means she can block out other talents so they don't effect her. She can also spread the shield over over people to make them safe as well, and she can completely remove the shield from herself.

She can either show them a memory or something that she makes up in her mind, basically like a little slide show, or TV show of what she thinks or feels. It's made from Bella being a shield, and Renesmee shows people things instead of blocking them and Edward being mind-reader, because instead of hearing thoughts, she shows them.

Whilst Edward can read minds, renesmee can put visions into people minds making them see what she wants them to. Bella can block mind readers, so renesmee has the ability to put her visions into anyones mind. (including Bella)
She does this by touching them.
