Some I know of:
Phlogiston,
Galileo's theory of tides,
Greek proposition that all numbers are rational,
Proposition that malaria is caused by airborne miasmas.
Putting it simply, theories and ideas are not proven scientific facts, but remain as such, an idea or a theory which have yet still to be proven.
I think Scientific Theories can be changeable. If we find new theories that prove others wrong, that scientific theory can be proved wrong. Galileo used shapes of different masses at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. He had refuted the theory about free falling objects, championed by Aristole. So there you have it! He changed a scientific theory! Actually, two! He proved that the earth was NOT in the center of the universe, which had been accepted since ancient time. People can scientific theories CAN be changeable. Not unchangeable.
There is not enough evidence to support these new theories. More tests and research needs to be carried out before these theories can be proved.
A scientific theory is based on a practical work of a scientists who on the basis of these practicals they deliver theories with solid and proved methods but a guess or opinion is an idea of ours which is not based on practicals or just a hypothesis.Scientific theories are often proved true but we can say nothing about a guess
bc scientific theories are hypotheses tested enough to be supported by evidence, and a fact is a proven thing. scientific theories are only right until theyre proven wrong

First off that's not a word, and any scientific theory can be debunked if a better theory replaces it or the evidence begins to point in a different direction thus debasing the previous theory.

When there are more convincing theories occur and proved experimentally, scientist will modify or change the current theories.

No, theories are reasonably well proved scientific conclusions and usually treated as fact.

Jung wrote in a style that was scientific, as if psychology was a science. But in science, theories must be proved, but the workings of the human mind can never be put to scientific test. Critics attacked his theories as unprovable.
Franklin proved the understanding of DNA was wrong through a number of scientific experiments.
Scientists are not resistant to change, they are always ready to look at new evidence for scientific theories. But science develops by looking at new ideas and rejecting the ones that can be proved wrong, so this is why scientists always have to look at new ideas when they come along and try to disprove them. The scientific theories that last are the ones that could never be disproved.
