1. Buy sea monkey kit
2. Take the things out
3. Put distlled or bottled water in the tank
4. Mix the water with the purification packet (use a CLEAN plastic spoon)
5. Wait 24 hours
6. Add eggs
The eggs hatch quicker if the room is warmer
7. After they hatch stir and aerate them every day( for the rest of their lives do this)
8. After 5 days pass feed them the packet with a three on it (growth food) with the small side of the spoon
For better results, put them near a north facing window
9. For further feeding, wait until the water is clear, or by the time 5 days pass
10. They will mate and stay populated for many years if kept healthy
TIPS-
Do NOT shake them
Aerating can be done by taking two containers and moving the sea monkeys back and fourth 4-5 times or by using the million bubbles air pump
Keep them near light but not direct sun light
Hope this helps!
You start by putting water purifier in you tank an stir it for 4 days then you add your sea monkey eggs, you stir the eggs so they can breathe. depending on the water temperature determines how long they take to hatch.
they really don't have a purpose they just look weird in the room
First of all, ensure that you pruify the water for them with the sachet included with your sea monkey eggs, and do not add any other purifying tablets, salt or similar. All they need is what is included in the initial packet.
Once this is done, you can raise them to good health simply by feeding them regularly, as per the directions on your food packet. If you notice that their water becomes cloudy, you will know that you are feeding them too much. Either halve the amount of food you are giving them, or go a couple of days without food.
Sea monkeys enjoy sunlight, so you can place their tank in the sunlight, but not in direct sunlight if the day it too warm or they may overheat.
First, the male finds a female he likes. Then, he gets under her and grabs onto her with his "pincers". If you see him wrap around her and seem to stick his tail in the place her egg sac will be, they are mating. Thanks!
Sea monkeys are a hybrid of brine shrimp (Artemia), bred to live longer and grow bigger. They were developed by the company Sea Monkeys.
Sea urchins do not mate, when it is time, they all let their eggs and sperm float out into the water currents where they mix and get fertilized by chance. Sort of like pollination.
Sea monkeys are also known as brine shrimp. They actually sustain themselves from micro-algae that is found in seawater. This means that you can just fill the tank with seawater.
Provide a clean and properly prepared environment, correct temperature, correct food and other sea monkeys to play with. And never play gangsta rap in the same room with sea monkeys.
It is because sea-monkeys are a special type of brine shrimp that have tails and have an odd behavior similar to monkeys behavior.
