You have a fever when your temperature rises above its normal range. What's normal for you may be a little higher or lower than the average temperature of 98.6 F (37 C).

Depending on what's causing your fever, additional fever symptoms may include:

It is when you have a temperature of 100.4 F or greater in the anus or ear, an oral
temperature of 99.5 F or greater or an under the arm temperature of 99.0 F or greater.
normally its having a hot forehead, a drippy nose, being VERY tired and depressed, having no emotions, or not wanting to do something you have wanted to do for a LONG time.
