What are some aspects of physical education?

To teach the importance of proper exercise, as well as teach the significance of various bodily functions, and also to prepare individuals to teach PE to others, and, finally, to lead exercise groups.

Physical - builds muscle, increases flexibility, and releases toxins through perspiration

Mental - sense of working toward a goal and increased blood-flow stimulates mental clarity

Emotional - releases endorphins (those feel good compounds released by the pituitary gland and hypothalamus) that work as analgesics and give you a sense of well-being

Social benefit - engages one in a group activity or gives a person a better physical presentation when in group settings (confidence)
