Well trademarks have commonly been infringed upon by terrorist organizations such as Al Queda and the Taliban. Before the Civil Rights movement the KKK and other anti black organizations would steal copyrights from African Americans and this problem still exists in the South.
This means if you want to be safe when trademarking or patenting you must be a white man who funds terrorists.
