If you have never done this before you will need to practice if it's a formal absence, a favourite for me is the most obvious, Food Poisoning and can be justified for example if your okay the day before and now today your absent, food poisoning can be very sudden when coming and going, one day your fine the next your not then the day after your human again so very good in this respect.
A students lifestyle also contributes to the likelihood of getting food poisoning, just say well I've never cooked for myself before. Or "that was a bad Chinese".
