I just read the Running Dream by Wendelin van Draanen. Its really good!
ALL BUT LIKE 1 OF THOSE SOUND BAD. WHAT ARE GOOD BOOKS FOR A CHRISTIAN 12 YEAR OLD GIRL?
Eragon I truly enjoyed, and The Devouring is also a good book. There's a sequel to that called Solstice, but I haven't read it myself so I'm not sure if it's good. Gail Carson Levine's books are also nice- Ever and Fairest are great. ED Baker's trilogy beginning with the Frog Princess has an amusing twist on the classic fairy tale. One of my favorites. I also would recommend the Warrior series by Erin Hunter. This series would be good for readers who like long series. This series has 26 books, 27 in November. Also, the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson is amazing! That would be my #1 recommendation to you.
boy or girl if its a boy i would say try Cirque Du Freak [interesting bit of scary but good books}
for a girl i would say tiger's curse/quest/voyage by colleen houck. they are really good.
Well, "The Immortal Instruments" series by Cassandra Clare. It's about a young girl named Clary Fray who life as she knows it will change forever and she would never look at anything the same again. It has Vampires, Werewolves, Demons, Witches, Warlocks,Shadowhunters. And a cute little love story. Fans of "Twilight" love it.
Also, "Evermore" by Alyson Noel it's book 1 of the Immortals series. The "Vampire Academy" by Richelle Mead. Oh! and the "Maximum Ride" series by James Patterson All of these books are YA. And great for young girls.
But, if you are a parent may I recommend that you try and keep your daughter away from the "House of Night" Series. It happens to be quite graphic, and will have her asking some questions you may not be ready to answer.
The Nancy Drew Books are a great favourite with most girls of that age
The Warrior Series by Erin Hunter is a big hit right now. It is a very long series, and the books get longer and more difficult as they go on. There are 26 books in total, so far. Some of the terms in the books, are confusing, since its from a cats point of view, but I'll put them in human terms for an easier understanding. Its about a house cat named Rusty, who leaves his homes, and explores the forest near his home. He meets Graypaw, an apprentice in ThunderClan, the main clan in the series, there are 4 clans, Thunderclan, WindClan, RiverClan, and ShadowClan. Graypaw and Rusty wrestle in the grass, when Bluestar apperies, the leader of ThunderClan, and tells Rusty to follow her. He follows coming into the camp. He then fights another cat in the clan, losing his collar in the process. Bluestar makes Rusty an apprentice of ThunderClan, who he now becomes Firepaw. You gotta read it to find out more.

Most of the books can be read by 10 year olds but Breaking Dawn is not recommended since some parts are inappropriate.
Yes, but only if they are a good writer
Some good books for 9-year-olds include "Charlotte's Web" by E.B. White, "Matilda" by Roald Dahl, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by J.K. Rowling, and "The One and Only Ivan" by Katherine Applegate. These books offer engaging stories and characters that are age-appropriate for 9-year-olds and can spark their imagination.
Yes, they are for around 9 to 12 year olds, but especially the first couple of books are good for 9 year olds.
