Some songs that are good for beginner steel drummers are: White Stripes Seven Nation Army, Queen We Will Rock You, Gensis That's all.
I wouldn't say they are full on rock, but some of their songs definitely have a rock feel to them.

yes! good for hard driving rock genres that will work with the SG 60's rock, 70s classic rock, punk, some grunge, metal, new hard rock (Jet, Wolfmother, Jack White), some 80s metal stuff, and blues. genres you may have trouble with a SG New Wave (U2) country death metal some grunge songs dont sound quiet right to be honest new pop songs songs with tons of open chords And of course probably the most famous SG player.......Angus Young from ACDC. Now that is rock!!
It depends. If you're looking for songs to sing for a competition in front of people than I would say some kind of taylor swift. If you just want some good songs to listen to than find some good songs on youtube and listen around till you fid one you like. One of my faveorites is Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO. This is coming from an 11 year old girl by the way. Good luck!
the beatles...
"We Will Rock You" by Queen "We Are the Champions" by Queen
I only know a few right now, but I would recommend looking into some of Pink's songs.
The river by good Charlotte I don't love you by my chemical romance
Some good rock remixes (of individual songs include the following titles): Cornershop by Brimful of Asha, Le Tigre by Deceptacon, and The Rut's by Babylong's Burning.
Some songs that are good for beginner steel drummers are: White Stripes Seven Nation Army, Queen We Will Rock You, Gensis That's all.
Definitely Party Rock Anthem. Also it is easy to memorize.
Hurt and Closer by Nine Inch Nails, Under The Bridge by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Welcome To The Machine by Pink Floyd are all good depressive rock and alternative songs.
Probably any song by The Beatles.
the beatles have the clean music and their very good too
Rock Band 2 doesn't start out with the same songs as the first game, but you can purchase some of the songs from the first game in the store, as well as new songs.
