In the 1960's solid waste used to be burned in a sanitary landfill disposal sites. However, the huge problems that ran into burning solid waste was the fact that the landfill had to be in a safe place where it couldn't contaminate any near by streams, water,or rivers. Sometimes liners would of to be placed on the landfill so that there were no leaks. So communities would put dirt on top of the landfill and then grow grass on it and turn it into a park, however nothing usually would grow on this because there aren't enough nutrients for plants to grow.
Another form of trash disposal was burying solid waste but this is very unsafe because, the water from the trash would link into near by streams or other environments which then would contaminate it because the chemicals in the water are very unsafe and it is very expensive to bury the solid waste.
Some problems caused by solid waste disposal include where to put it, how to process it, and its effects on the environment. Solid waste requires time to break down and can cause considerable damage in large concentrations.
It can cause disturbing smells. And if you burn plastic, rubber and some other man-made objects, it can cause very dangerous dioxin and other toxins to be released.
Smoke from burning waste has a very detrimental affect on air quality. It can cause and worsen Asthma in children and adults, cause eye and nose irritations, cause headaches, increase susceptibility to infection, and cause and exacerbate other respiratory conditions. It is especially dangerous for small children and the elderly. It can cause a phenomenon whereby other environmental pollutants such as vehicle emissions and industrial fumes become trapped and create pockets of dangerous and irritating smog.
it effects the air we breath
it also causes a hole in the atmosphere
it effects our mother earth
one disadvantage is that if we have to much garbage it will destroy the earth
It is unsightly, unhealthy and costly to clean and remove.
Pollution and global warming.
All the littering and pollution
pollutes the soil
solid waste disposal
Three methods to solid waste disposal are, the three R's. Reuse, reduce, and recycle.

Advanced disposal co.
Health problems
Yes. It fits, no problems.
because most of our plastic waste is non biodegradable
probably its proper disposal of garbage
An overpopulated country would have problems with (obviously) space, food, trash disposal, waste disposal (human waste), smog, acid rain, hygiene, job shortage, and traffic.
In the UK, it is the local council and the company with the contract to collect waste.
