They would be more vulnerable to their predators. Eventually, the species of lizards would die out and it could effect the whole ecosystem. Without these lizards, insect population would grow, leading to disease or other problems. The whole food chain would be arupted and any animals who depended on these lizards for nourishment would be affected by hunger or death.
