Change the pressure and/or the temperature of the gas.
This seems like a trick question. Without directly changing an object itself, its weight could be changed by significantly altering its altitude; objects weigh most at around sea level, but placing an object at the top of a tall mountain would weaken the pull of gravity on the object and thus its weight. If you put an object in orbit, it would be in freefall and have no weight at all.
All you have to do is decrease the dimensions, while increasing the density at a same level
Volume isn't in an object it's how much space an object takes up. So you could burn it or find a way of destruction.
Of a gas? It has no volume.
Of a liquid and solid? Heat it up technically, but generally the answer is you can't unless you add something or there is a chemical reaction.

does gas take the shape of it's container and can change volume
The volume decreases
If the space in which the gas is inside doesn't change, the volume of gas doesn't change
That's because they are quite easily compressible. There are no forces holding the gas particles together. (apex)
gas has no specific volume because the molecules can be compressed or expanded, which would change the volume. like there is a smaller volume of gas in a can of soda then in the atmesphere around you.

Because gas takes the shape of it's container, it can change volume quite easily. No matter what container you put it in, a gas takes that shape and volume.
I have no idea that's why i an askng you.

As the temperature of a gas increases, so does the volume.

The matter that can change shape and volume is gas.
