To generalise, the substances that we actually need to survive in the first place is oxygen and water. These consist of hydrogen atoms and oxygen. Carbon is also very important as most things are made from carbon (along with other elements).

Also, elements such as berylium, boron and lithium are not necessary but they are in the first 6 elements.

Technically, the answer is no (but some of the elements are very important as I have said above).
