It is this writers opinion that an infant has no need of baptism, as they are all innocent in the eyes of the Lord. When a child reaches the age of accountability which the Lord has set at eight years of age, for at this age they should be able to have a better knowledge of right and wrong. The child then goes through a simple but essential form of baptism.
Some churches believe that to be baptized they then become member of that church. But baptism is more than that. It symbolizes to the Lord that the child has understood what repentance is, and they have repented of their sins, those things that they know to be wrong in their young lives.
I do not know of seven stages, but here are five which the child should understand.
1. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
2. Repentance.
3. Baptism.
4. Confirmed a member of the Lords Church.
5. To receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
well i guess like the Ethiopian eunuch in bible times... first off he had accurate knowledge... second he asked forgiveness for his sins, third he changed his lifestyle in accordance with what he was learning, and finally dedicated his life to God, and the doing of his will.
The 8 steps of infant baptism are:
there are 9 stages which are :
1) welcome
2)the word of god
3) the excorcism
4) annointing with the oil of catchamens
5) moment of baptism
6) annointing of chrism
7)white garment
8)the blessing
Hope it helped :D

Paedobaptism
Tradition Christians believe in infant baptism, the reason being , as one can not tell whether a baby will grow up mentally retarded, so then he will not know god. So the best thing is to have infant baptism.
they believe in infant baptism
What baptism are you talking about? Infant baptism? Baptism of believers? Well the answer is much the same. Nothing happens to your sin when you are baptized. If you are a believer your sin is already dealt with before you get baptized. A believers baptism is a sign of the believers identifying with Christ in that Christ was buried and rose again the believer is buried (in water) and rises again to a new life. Infant baptism??? well there is nothing in the Bible that teaches infant baptism.
A paedobaptism is a baptism of a person as an infant or child.
Nothing much happens.
