There are five common state changes between the three common states of matter. They are melting (solid to liquid), freezing (liquid to solid), condensation (gas to liquid), evaporation (gas to liquid) and sublimation (solid to gas, gas to solid).
Not sure what the qustion is here. The states of matter are:
Solid, liquid and gas. Historically there was a dispute over plasma but it is generally accepted as a state of matter now.

Matter has 4 phases; solid, liquid, gas and plasma.
the three phases are solid, liquid, and gas, but there not only three they have plasma, and liquid cyrstal.
Liquid, solid, gas and plasma.
The three phases of water are, liquid, solid and gas. Water changes from liquid to solid by Freezing. It changes from liquid to gas by Evaporation. It changes from solid to gas by Sublimation. It changes from solid to liquid by Melting. It changes from gas to liquid by Condensation.
Plasma, Gas, Liquid, Solid, Super solid. As yet plasma and super soild are theoretical.
