No, Saw 7 is a sequel, just like Saw 2, 3, 4, 5and 6. Last I heard, there are to be a total of 9 Sawmovies. Originally there were supposed to be just 3 films. Then they extended it to 6 films. Now it's supposed to be 9 films.
