You can play Xbox games on the 360 only if you have updates. If you haven't even updated once you are limited to XBOX game you can play. A clue is to see if there is a 360 version of the game you want to play first. I there is one you probably can't play it due to the fact that you haven't updated once.

No they cannot. For some reason, the 360 is different that the regular Xbox.The Xbox360 discs were made different. So no, they cannot be used any other console.
